Bethesda's New Fallout 4 DLC Contraptions Workshop Arrives Tomorrow

Bethesda's New Fallout 4 DLC Contraptions Workshop Arrives Tomorrow

Big announcements were made by Bethesda in last week’s E3 2016 such as the final set of Fallout 4 DLC and new game experience, Fallout 4 VR.

Rumors about a Nuka World DLC has been circulating online prior to E3 2016. And indeed, it is one of the three final DLC that will be released by Bethesda for Fallout 4 this year. The 4th DLC is Contraptions Workshop which costs $4.99 USD and will arrive tomorrow, followed by Vault-Tec Workshop in July also priced at $4.99 USD, and Nuka-World which can be purchased for a higher price of $19.99 USD this August.

According to Express UK, Vault-Tec Workshop, the 5th DLC is the most exciting because it allows players to construct a massive Vault and entice new Dwellers with the help of pre-war industrial kits with retro-nostalgic furniture, lighting, and art.

Contraptions Workshop on the other hand, will enable players to utilize conveyer belts, track kits, scaffolding kits, and even logic gates to build outrageous and complex gadgets to improve their Wasteland settlements. The 4th DLC also comes with brand new features like greenhouse kits, elevators, warehouse kits, armor racks, fireworks, and more.

In August, the final Fallout 4 DLC Nuka-World will take players to a trip to a vast amusement park that already turned into a lawless city of Raiders. This add-on will feature a new region to explore with open wasteland and park zones such as Dry Rock Gulch, Safari Adventure, Galactic Zone, and the Kiddie Kingdom. There will also be new Raiders, quests, creatures, and weapons. Nuka-World is “the most thrilling expansion for Fallout 4,” wrote Ecumenical News.

It seems the E3 2016 attendees’ opinions on the new Fallout 4 DLC are varied with some preferring Vault-Tec the most, while others are more excited to explore Nuka-World. Might as well find out for yourself when the final set of DLC launches!

Meanwhile, Bethesda also shared their plan to release Fallout 4 VR on Xbox One’s Scorpio console. It will also be offered on the HTC Vive in 2017.

“We think that VR is the perfect fit for truly immersive games like our massive open-world RPGs,” Bethesda vice president Pete Hines said.

“If you thought Survival Mode was an intense Fallout experience… you ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Fallout 4 DLC Far Harbor Is Out And Now, A Fallout 4 Puzzle Has Been Solved!

Fallout 4 DLC Far Harbor Is Out And Now, A Fallout 4 Puzzle Has Been Solved!

As previously announced, the third Fallout 4 DLC Far Harbor for Xbox One, PS4, and PC arrived May 19th – and it’s so large that you might need a guide to explore it!

Gamespot wrote that Far Harbor “is set in a post-apocalyptic version of Maine's Bar Harbor.” It has the largest mass ever created by Bethesda as add-on content. With Far Harbor, players can get new missions, creatures, weapons, and more.

"Far Harbor will take you on a journey that's a far cry from the Commonwealth," said Bethesda.

According to Kotaku, a quest that is considered useless in Fallout 4 now finally made sense in Far Harbor. It’s like a lost puzzle piece that finally found its place in the new DLC. Any idea what is it?

While playing Fallout 4 have you been offered a “charge card” by Parker Quinn while wandering around the Fallout 4’s adaptation of South Boston? It is supposed to be a new currency that will replace caps but in the Commonwealth, nobody will accept it. Here’s a footage of that Parker Quinn encounter in case you can’t recall it.

Did you notice Parker Quinn’s New England accent?

Kotaku pointed out that the newly released Fallout 4 DLC Far Harbor can also be called Fallout: New England Edition. Why? Because the grouchy fishermen inhabiting an island speak with classic New England accent! And of course, the charge card is the currency there!

Amazing isn’t it? What players thought to be useless is not useless at all! Since he was the one who’s offering the charge card, it can be assumed that Parker Quinn came from Far Harbor. Watch the video below courtesy of Kotaku to check for yourself.

In case you haven’t heard, Fallout 4 mods for Xbox One are coming this month and the PS4 will be available in June. Bethesda also announced that additional add-ons will be release in the later part of 2016.
