It’s been 14 years since Kingdom Hearts debuted in PS2 on March 28, 2002 in Japan, and to celebrate Kingdom Hearts 14th anniversary, Director Tetsuya Nomura gave fans a first look on the upcoming game, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
Nomura’s birthday message tweeted in Japanese was translated by KH13 below.
“It's been 14 years since the birth of KH. It's now the same age Sora was when he first departed on his adventure. It's all thanks to all of you who've been supporting us for so long. Thank you so much. I leave you with Daybreak Town, which is under development for 2.8. Please, continue supporting us.”
