Just a few days after announcing that Patch 1.4 for Fallout 4 is now available for PS4 and Xbox One, Bethesda released Fallout 4 trailer for Automatron – the first add-on scheduled for this month’s launch.
“In Automatron, the mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons such as the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!”
Fallout 4 Automatron is designed exclusively for level 15 or higher characters. Automatron will be followed in April by Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor in May. Far Harbor is the biggest landmass ever created for a post-release content by Bethesda Game Studios.
Polygon wrote that closed betas for all three add-ons were announced by Bethesda last month for all platforms. On March 14th at around 12:30 PM ET, Bethesda has disclosed through Twitter that the Fallout 4 DLC Beta invites for Automatron has been sent. However, it seems invitations are for selected people only as some season pass holders complained about not receiving invites in their inboxes.
If you were not able to get the season pass before March 1, you can still get hold of it but for a higher price of $49.99 together with the three add-ons and other surprise titles.
