Nintendo has been distributing free renowned Pokemon every month from several Pokemon games this year to commemorate two decades of Pokemon. The newest additions are Registeel, Regice, and Regirock. The trio of pocket monsters can be accessed through Pokemon Bank starting today until October 31st.
Cinema Blend wrote that the free Pokemon latest offering can be availed one at a time via Pokemon Bank in Pokemon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby by those who are subscribed to the Pokemon Bank service of Nintendo. Each Pokemon comes with new hidden abilities which are not available when you hunt them in the wild.
The Pokemon Bank service was offered for Nintendo 3DS with annual subscription of $4.99 as a means for gamers to deposit and manage their Pokemon on private boxes online. For those who have no subscription, they can still avail as a Mystery Gift the legendary Celebi for free download this month.
According to My Nintendo News, Regirock will feature Sturdy as hidden ability that will enable him to withstand attack with full HP. With Ice Body hidden ability, Regice will be able to restore HP in Hail weather condition – making him last longer in battle. While Registeel will have hidden ability Light Metal which reduces its weight by 50% thus decreasing the amount of damage this Pokemon will take from attacks such as Low Kick and Grass Knot.
Meanwhile, The Pokemon Company recently unveiled the board game-style Pokemon Co-Master for Android and iOS. It is a combination of Pokemon and jinkouchinou (人工知能) – the Japanese term for artificial intelligence, which offers a new Pokemon experience.
The Pokemon game was developed by Tokyo-based company, Heroz, which is recognized for its artificial intelligence creations that has beaten professional Japanese chess players during exhibition competitions, wrote Kotaku. The free-to-play Pokemon online game will arrive in Japan this spring. However, it is not yet known if there will be a Western launch for Pokemon Co-Master.
