The upcoming Star Wars movie is not “Star Wars 8” anymore. The working title for the next installment of Star Wars movies has been revealed to be “Space Bear.”
Actress Carrie Fisher who played Princess Leia, tweeted a picture of her pet dog Gary sitting on her on-set chair, and accidentally revealed in the process the working title of “Star Wars 8” which was emblazoned on the chair.
Space Bear is expected to change as the production progresses, which is no longer a surprise, as previous Star Wars movies have also weird working titles including Blue Harvest for Return of the Jedi and Foodies for The Force Awakens.
According to TNW News, Disney allegedly spent millions to have drones fly above the Croatian location to deter other non-studio drones from capturing scenes of the on-going production. Six hundred guards will also be deployed on the ground together with 24 hour security.
Meanwhile, rumors emerged that Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor have been asked to reprise their roles as Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi, respectively, for “Star Wars 8.” It was also reported that a team in the UK will head out soon to the US to start training Christensen for his appearance in the latest Star Wars movie.
No confirmation yet from the studio bosses as of today, so let’s just wait for further updates, or perhaps the Star Wars trailer, to know if there are some truth to the rumors.
“Star Wars 8” will be coming to cinemas on December 15, 2017.
