Additional details have been revealed recently by Tsnuekazu Ishihara, President and CEO of Pokemon Company for the release date of the much-awaited phone gaming app Pokemon GO. But the news will disappoint the fans all over the world.
We know how Pokemon GO works and where it will be launched first but unfortunately…it will not be done simultaneously!
The release of the augmented reality game will be done in waves with Japan, North America and Europe getting the first access followed by Asia, Africa, Middle East and South America. Niantic and Nintendo however, did not mention release dates for other countries.
Another big Pokemon project is underway according to Ishihara, Express wrote, but no more details were disclosed. The Pokemon fans can expect a new game instalment in Nintendo NX or 3DS.
As part of the 20th Anniversary of Pokemon this year, the Pokemon GO commercial “Train On” was aired in the Superbowl 50. Pokemon GO is among the company’s several future projects including the re-release in 3DS of the original Pokemon games.
Yibada wrote that reports have leaked that the celebratory anniversary game scheduled to launch this year is “Pokemon Rainbow” not the previously rumored “Pokemon Z.”
The project for the 3DS is codenamed “Project Niji” with Niji translated to Rainbow. The code name is allegedly not the final title for the game but it is confirmed to be slated for Pokemon 20th anniversary.
“Pokemon Rainbow” had been a topic of speculations prior to January 2013 Nintendo Direct hence, it was no longer new to the Pokemon fans. The game will include majority of the Pokemon characters and will be released together with Wii U app.
